Annoying Voice

    Nope, it's just like it came - out of the box. It was set up in the store by Best Buy people.

    By the way, I've been reading about something new that is supposed to enhance the device, called TouchWiz. do you know anything about that?

    Regarding the TouchWiz thing, it's in the update. I'm probably the only one who doesn't know this but in case someone else wants to get up to date here's how.

    Go to Settings, About Tablet, Software Update, and follow the instructions. Takes about a half hour all told. Looks like a good update.

    Why would that be? I had no trouble downloading and installing the update. Is my unit somehow different than those of most users?

    It would appear so based on the voice prompts that your system is giving you. Where did you get your tablet? If you go to Settings->About Tablet what is listed under these fields?

    I believe that is why we have the voice. Maybe since my tablet is new it is already set up in here. I can't really understand the purpose though, because it is so annoying !

    Just making lite of things....I could understand his fustration, but does anyone truly know everyone personaly on these forums.
    Well apology accept by him, so all is well. I just think he is new to the tech game and is getting a bit fustrate.

    You go to accessibility then turn on Swype hope it works

    It could be under settings/accessibility on a rca tablet....talk back feature....no wonder it's super "annoying"
