anybody else get a dropad t8500?

i bought a 5in. android 2.2 tablet/phone from china, rec'd promptly & as quickly found its pretty useless. cannot load android market therefore can't get any apps, browser opera mini supplied could use a gps it won't find anything.does anybody know i can acctivate apks loaded to sd card in phone? thx
