Anyone had problems with soft keyboard after firmware update?

I was finally able to figure out the firmware update, and am in the process of restoring my le pan to it's previous settings. I used Astro backup, but it still missed a bunch of stuff, so I'm putting it all back together manually. Here's my problem--my super keyboard doesn't work anymore. I choose it under keyboard settings, but the default keyboard seems to override it every time. I even uninstalled & reinstalled the app. I love the super keyboard, and need the mic on it for speech-to text. Any suggestions? I even paid for the full app, so I'd really like to get it to work!
