Apps restarting after killed.

I've been using a task killer for some time. I've noticed that a number of applications automatically restart. Subsequently I'm using the task killer quite frequently. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to prevent apps from restarting?

It's normal, I have several that do the same thing. None of the apps I have allow you to stop them from restarting, but I think some of the task killers will automatically re-kill them.
