archos 101 8gb go

I have an arachos 101. It is frozen. Message is Sorry activity jewels (in application Jewels) is not responding. Force close or wait. Nothing works. Nothing else on the screen. What do I do now. I have it plugged so I know it is charged.

Any help out there? I also tried to register it and keep getting the message n
umber not your device. I am reading it right off the unit. The same on is on the box.
