I bought an Archos 70 8GB for my girlfriend for Christmas and she LOVES it!!! I liked it so much that I bought a 250GB one for myself as well. The 250GB one was a maistake. For some reason it will power on by itself and then the screen times out an goes blank but it doesn't actually turn off the device. I think it's because it has a hard drive instead of micro SD. Every time I pick it up, the battery is dead. The 8GB doesn't have that problem and is 30% thinner and 30% lighter, too. I'm returning my 250GB model and getting another 8GB model. I figure with a 32GB micro SD card I would have WAY more space than I would ever need. 250GB in a tablet is really overkill I think. As far as performance, the thing smokes!!! Build quality is EXCELLENT. You can get all the google apps with a simple .apk file called gAppsInstaller.apk
