I have a turn-key application that I am writing for my company. The hardware needs to be a WiFi pocket-able device. I am looking at the Archos 43.

I wanted to make sure I will be able to develop my application on Eclipse and download the application directly from my development environment to the Archos 43. After the little reading that I have done; it appears that each device that I need to download to needs to have a USB-Driver for it (in Windows). I wanted to make sure the Archos 43 had such a driver before I ordered a unit for evaluation.

Anyone know?

Thanks,

You can connect it in USB debug mode or as a remote drive potentially. The potentially is that the local drive may be formatted as EXT3 vs Fat32 is the only roadblock depending upon interface needs from the PC side.
