Are our VIA8505 /ARM9 clones really 175mhz?

    I believe mine is, and that the 300-400mhz refers to the VIA SOC bus speed.
    Benchmark show 174mhz!

    The core is the ARM9-J , same as in the "fast" LG cookie & NAS boxes.

    It certainly is much slower than my 3y.o. 400mhz WM6 phone!

    I read about some x2 speed theory but found no proof.
    Also all apps that run OK in G1 Android phone run very slow in my tablet

    174Mhz is a Bogomips number, so actually it runs 300Mhz (see wm8505 spec/datasheet:))
