ARM Cortex A15 offers 5x more power to smartphones and tablets

ARM has introduced a new CPU called Cortex A15 to be aimed at smartphones, tablets and other low powered computing devices. Codenamed Eagle. The chip will launch as the Cortex A15 in 2012 with offering up to 5x times the performance of existing smartphone/tablet processors. Will be made into one processing core, but most will have 2C/2T or 4C/4T.
