Assistance required

I am a new user of Android tech and don't have a clue where to start. I have just taken delivery of a Kogan Agora which is obviously some form of Chinese clone - but which? Kogan are not the most approachable of people - and thats an understatement. I get half arsed answers from e-mail contact but what I really need is a gizzit on how to get started. I have downloaded the 1" thick 2.3 User Guide, but the tablet itself came with no manual whatsoever. I build and modify Windows based gear all the time, but am for once baffled by this stuff. Consequently the tablet is currently a paperwieght until I can get some guidance. Any and all help would be appreciated to get this off the ground. I cannot spend the rest of my life getting 1 answer at a time of the techs at Kogan!

It might be easier if we start by getting a specific list of things you need help with. What are you trying to do that you haven't so far? Where do you want to start?
