One of the most popular file manager apps finally received a much needed update. Astro now has a new look for mobile phones and all new support for Honeycomb devices. If youÂ’re not rooted, then Astro has always been the go-to file manager to search through all of the files and documents stored on your SD card.

This news is bad*$$!!! I use Astro on my phone and am happy to see that it's been Honeycombized. It's slick and very similar to a M$ file manager in feel and reaction, so the learning curve is really short. This is a good update.

Total Commander is much better IMO.

@alisagamer: I'm pretty certain that FroYo IS supported... since I've been using it from FroYo on, in the previous version.

@prozacfield : It might be, but for those of us who've been using Astro, this news allows us to stick with a tried-and-true program when we go to tablet format.
