Thanks, jseah. I appreciate the info.

It's silly that I even have to deal with the issue though of receiving a new item from the Returns Dept. I did ask the rep last night if the store had inventory and he was confident that they did and will. My confidence level is not as high but I'm hopeful.

It is one of the better tablets out there, it also comes with good tech support. If your a newbie, that is a comfort to have. The other tablet worth considering is the Acer Iconia A500, which has good ergonomics almost as good as the Asus Transformer. The Transformer also comes with Polaris office suite, which is very handy app.

Actually I have one beef about the charger. The cord is so darn short!!

Grab a USB 3.0 cable and you can make it longer. Amazon and Monoprice have great deals on them (less than $5). I have a 9' cord (3'+6' USB 3.0 cable).

If you try a USB 2.0 cable it will not charge (well, it will charge at the speed of death ~3% per hour)

When I purchased the Transformer on Black Friday, it was priced at $250. When I purchased the Acer A500's on Cyber Monday, they were $230. For myself, if I had to do it again, at the prices I paid, I would still opt for the Transformer over the A500. However, if I compare the price I paid for the Acer A500 ($230) and the price the Transformer sells for now ($299), I might opt for the A500 and save the $70.
