Authorize Novel-7 problem

In Adobe Digital Editions I authorized my ASUS laptop, no problem. I downloaded an e-book from a public library into ADE, connected the Novel 7, ADE recognized it, I drug & dropped the book into the N-7. It transferred ok and I disconnected the N-7. I opened Barns & Noble on the N-7, went to “My Library” but the book would not open due to not authorized. I have transferred “non DRM books" with no problem. Do I have to go to Overdrive with the N-7 “or what?”
