On my R101 under Running Services, at the very bottom of the screen, it says I have this:

"Avail: 96mb+38 in 8" .......... then "Other: 20mb in 2"

What exactly does this mean?

I've uninstalled the preloaded apps with VM's little uninstaller app using the ADB drivers and I just now installed mVideoplayer to see if it will be better then the built in movie player. So far so good btw!

I know this has 256mb of system RAM and apps install to that. But what I dont get is the "8" and the "2" in the description of what I have for available RAM.
I assume Android OS is splitting up the built in 256mb of RAM for whatever reasons. Does this mean I have a total of 154mb of open RAM so installing apps and for Android to use as system RAM?

Well, I installed one of the android system info apps--such as, not surprisingly, "android system info" :] and I get the following:
Internal Storage 70 MB 9.7 free
System Storage 128 MB 47.5 free
Memory 196 MB total 86 free
When I look at what you looked at, I get: 68MB + 20MB in 5 and 47 MB in 4
Don't know if that clarifies anything for you, it doesn't for me. :[ Am I missing some obvious total that makes sense?
