Backup Honeycomb Tablet?

My iPhone is backed up every time I plug it into my pc. I broke it once and then I just transferred the complete bacup onto the new phone, and instantly had all apps and settings like the old one.

Is there a way to achieve the same with a Honeycomb tablet? I have an Acer Iconia 500 and it would be great to have a backup like that if it broke or I had to reset it for some reason.

hope am in right place
want to do full sys back up but not root. The internal rom is labelled sd card
What the hell is that???hmm must be an sd card.
the external card is mnt/sdcard/Removable/MicroSD/ blah blah
yes i can back up apps but not os and data, i think ??
please help if you have the patients for me
