I hope there are still people watching this forum.

I have been having a problem with the 78 that I have not seen mentioned elsewhere on the web. It works fine while it is plugged in, but as soon as I unplug it, it goes dark. The battery monitor app/widgets report that the battery is charged and in good condition. Oddly, I have a "phone test" app that does not recognize that it is plugged in!. I would expect that, even with a failing battery, I would have _some_ life after unplugging ... if only five or ten minutes. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue on mine, and after weeks of fiddling and various other things it turned out to be the battery. I actually got this confirmed from Avi at AugenUS before they went out of business, so you may well be out of luck, sorry.

Yeah, I figured it was the battery. Sorry it took so long to respond to your response. I was wondering whether you know of anywhere to get a replacement battery?
