Battery use display question

If you navigate to "About tablet > Battery use" it says Cell standby 78%, Tablet idle 11%. What is the difference between these two?

If you touch and hold "cell standby", it will give you a time on and time without a signal. The time without a signal will be 100% because these tablets don't have cell capability. I'm not sure if that truly means anything other than the power used by the tablet in standby mode instead of power off. It would be nice if there was a hibernate option as with uberoid for the WM8650. This is because the operating system is really a cell phone system, not primarily designed for tablets.

I keep my tablet permanently in airplane mode which eliminates the cell standby battery usage. Bear in mind that in you can still use your wifi while in airplane mode.
