EVGA Tegra Note 7
cheap-android-tablets-tegra.jpg

Late last year, Nvidia launched the Tegra Note, a reference tablet that is powered by a Tegra 4 SoC, priced at less than $200. Nvidia is offering the Tegra Note as a reference model, allowing smaller partners to put their name on the device and sell as their own. In the case of North America and Europe, the prefered partner is EVGA, which brings us to the EVGA Tegra Note 7.

Following closely the reference model, the EVGA Tegra Note 7 offers all the features baked in by Nvidia, including stylus support, Chimera camera technology, PureAudio, and TegraZone, Nvidia’s dedicated app that compiles games to take advantage of Tegra processors. Front-facing speakers round out some decent hardware, and the EVGA Tegra Note 7 is priced well below $199.

Specs
  • 7-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 800 resolution (216 ppi)

The Cube Talk 7X Octa-core is a reasonably priced budget product that can handle the basics, but absolutely not a choice for users with higher requirements.
