So I'm looking for a tablet to read comic books on. I've heard good things about a rooted Nook Color for use with comics.

Can anyone recommend a tablet for this purpose, or give their opinion on the Nook?

    Thanks.

Comics look great on my Acer Iconia A500. With the larger screen there is little need to zoom in on anything unlike on smaller screens. About the only thing I need to do is change to landscape for two page spreads.

If you're interested, I wrote a web application that runs on your PC and converts .cbz/.cbr files into HTML. It allows you to view your comic collection on any device that has a web browser.

It works great on my Nook Color:
