I'm a newby so please go easy on me :)
I have a 4yr. & 7yr. old, Both can navigate my Android based phone very competently.

I want to give each child a tablet with the following options:
Wi-Fi only - dont need 3/4g access
Most memory (internal or upgradable by card)
Play Games (and be able to access Android's Market to download new games),
Watch movies via NetFlix
Play Music
Webcam & Camera for iChat ect...
Surf the web for appropriate content
Android's most current operating system available in my price range...
I want to keep the price between $100-$250 per device...

Thank you in advance...I'm sure my kiddies will thank you too :)

Hi careycrews, welcome to the forum, you can have a look at our: Android Tablet PC. Lots of decent table PCs here are under $200.
Maybe you can find something of your interest there, we offer free shipping and one-year free warranty for every device! welcome!

I would go with a used wifi Xoom. Its bulky enough to withstand a 4 year old walking on it and powerful enough to run all the games, stories & learning apps you want.

At such young ages, you don't t want to be spending lots of money on something that is fragile, but there are some good cheap alternatives. If you don't want vtech kiddie learning devices which, good tho they are, are somewhat limited in their capabilities, then what mcbub is offering seems very good value. This is a device that can grow with them( at least a few years anyway) I'm pretty sure there's software apps that can limit what your kids can see & do. They may cost a little but its you're kids safety we're talking about.
