I don't know if this was covered but I was wondering what video type does the VTAB use? MPEG4, AVI? I just need a heads up before I convert some films I have. Thanks for the help!

It should be able to support just about any format depending on the player you use. Find you favorite player first and then choose your favorite format. Using the H.264 codec is probably your best bet.

Not sure, Vizio doesn't specify. I don't even see a specific player on the Vizio, so it must use Gallery. It doesn't matter though there are plenty of free great players on the market. Just make sure you encode in H.264 and then pick your favorite wrapper (MPEG, AVI) and pick a player https://play.google.com/store/search?q=video player&c=apps.
