Bluetooth Speaker Died

I bought a Bluetooth speaker a few months ago. I use it plugged into my phone jack. It's good sound when I watch Star Trek episodes. Unfortunately it just died. It doesn't take a charge. Those rechargeable batteries often give me trouble. Does anyone know why something like that can happen and what I can do to bring my speaker back?
