Hi tpaine.

Tried the first one and got this result. What do you make of the errors?

busybox fsck /dev/block/nande
fsck (busybox 1.18.3, 2011-07-08 15:05:12 CST)
fsck: can't read '/etc/fstab': No such file or directory
fsck: fsck.auto: No such file or directory

Also tried `Adb reboot recovery' but the tablet just did a regular reboot.

Hi.

Just a quick post to say the tablet is working normally again. : )

In the end I had to resort to flashing the firmware with LiveSuit but it did the trick.

Also I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who posted, for all the help along the way.

Cheers.

Glad to hear it. Did you make the livesuite image from the CM9 link you posted ? Any hints on making the livesuite image ?

Actually, lady-luck smiled on me in the end.

Out of the blue I received an email from the Chinese supplier asking me which firmware I needed. I'd contacted them twice previously to ask for the firmware but without success.

Anyway, they kindly sent me the IMG file using Skype, then 3 minutes and a copy of LiveSuit later - one fully functioning tablet. : )

While I was about it I also installed ClockworkMod recovery.

It's nice when she smiles on you, I usually get her frown.
