So I'm new to this whole android and rooting thing. If I want to rooot my kyros shouuld I just follow the instructions in the sticky? And if I do root it is it undo-able? And is rooting like jailbreaking where youu get the apps for free? Thanks for the help!!

Yes, it's reversible. No, you don't get apps for free. You just get admin access to your device.

BTW, the kyros ships allowing root access via adb. That tells me coby doesn't care what you do with your tablet. It would be nice if more companies took that stance so we wouldn't have to exploit bugs in the os to have admin access..

    Edit: swype error

Zwuzu 10' Tablet and HTC EVO 4G
I just bought a Zwuzu 10.2" tablet. It has OS2.2 installed. I have not received it yet, but it supposedly has the Google Market access.

Does "rooting" work on any Android device and what benefit will it give me? I also have an HTC EVO 4G. Would rooting it give me any added functionality?

    Thanks for your advice.
