I have always seemed to learn by "trial by error"

Was working on modifying the build.prop file.
Renamed the original to build.prop.bak, went to copy the new build.prop file to the /system dir and my device reset.

Now the device sits at the Sylvania splash screen.
It will go to the Android recovery utility, but I'm not sure where to go there.

As much as I need to learn about the Android OS, this should be a good experience, because, it will probably happen to me again.

Dang dude. That sucks. Sorry I cannot be of much help but you certainly have taught me a lesson. Don't mess with build.prop.

Its a good lesson learned.

I'll get it fixed and post directions, in case it happens to anyone else.

Currently, I have not managed to restore the device.
Here are the recovery screen details (I have tried all options).

Android system recovery <2e>

Android system recovery utility

- reboot system now
- apply sdcard:update.zip
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition

E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command: No such file or directory

Got the device running.
But, my luck...

Everything was running properly, I went and ran the update utility.
After update, teh device shut off, and now it won't turn back on.

I got to the Android System Recovery screen by performing the 3 finger salute.
(One finger on the screen, and one on the power, the other on the menu)

My system would show the infoTM screen, then go to the Sylvania splash screen, then reboot and go into that screen.
