Bummer: "System Update is invalid and will be canceled"

Ahhh! I feel so bad for all who did a factory reset - has anyone tried a hard reset instead of the factory reset? I did the hard reset after I saw the "Invalid Install" 4 times - and voila.

So now, you're wondering "what the heck is the hard reset on the a500?"
- hold the power button
- Volume UP
- Move screen lock back and forth a bunch of times.

Let it do it's thing, hit the software update and there you go!

Hope this saves some people from doing a factory reset...

I think you'll that that is a CACHE clear - not a HARD RESET. The hard reset is on the righthand side below the Fullsize USB.

im having exactly the same problem for update4.10.10
what exactly should i do????
this is like the tenth time im failing to update..
