CAC SMART Card Reader

I am attempting to get my GemPlus USB smart card reader to work on my Honeycomb Asus Transformer so that I can access military websites and digitally sign forms through Firefox. Does anyone know of a way to get the reader to activate properly. I know that it is powered because the LED flashes, but it fails to read the card when inserted.

Are you referring to a Common Access Card (CAC)? If so I personally have never been able to get these to work when using firefox. I have to use Internet explorer for the system to recognize my digital certificated and let me log in.

Yes. Thought it was me. I know it works with chrome, thought it might work with honeycomb.

looking to repost this to see if anyone will reply to it. Still have been unable to use a CAC (common access card) for accessing secure sites. Is there anyone who has attempted this and been able to do it yet?
