Can anyone get skype video to work?

Hi,

I've got an A700 and I just tried video skyping with my folks and I couldn't get any video from them or transmit to them. I looked at my settings and the video was enabled. I also ensured that the camera was active during the session but it still didn't work. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar problems (or dissimilar successes).

I honestly haven't tried...I'll install and get back to you in a couple hours.

Yes, it works flawlessly.

Maybe the problem is on your parents end, or a bandwidth issue or something.
I've used skype between the A700 and a HTC one X, as well as a an HP Slate.

I've also use Google Talk video calling, which will work to any laptop as well.

Same here - had no problems at all using Skype with video in both directions. Sound was low though at the time.

Hmmm... I'm not sure what's going on then. I have been able to skype with another computer between my place and my folks in the past. I guess I'll try a reinstall of Skype and see what that does. Thanks for the feedback.
