Can I install the latest nightly (214) overtop 7.0.2 stable?

Aren't these different kernals? Won't that mess something up?

once I flash the newest nightly, should I install gapps? or will they still be there from my previous 7.0.2?

welp i just installed latest gapps and nightly 214 overtop 7.0.2. I first wiped cache and dalvik cache first. Hope this works....

worked fine.

now running latest nightly - seems pretty stable and quicker - clocked at 1.2 ghz

Ha, I just answered this in the other thread. Gald you got it. You should also notice significantly longer battery life when the Nook is sleeping.

So J5150P, you advocate Nightly build 214 as being relatively stable and not too hard on the battery ?
I should move from build 200 which is a battery hungry mother ??

I say go for 7.1.0-encore. This is the latest stable and incorporates the higher nightlies (not sure where the actual cut off is).
