Welcome to the forum

There isn't really a single answer but my suggestion based on your needs would be to make certain you purchased a tablet with an available USB port and HDMI out. With those specs you should have little problem with connecting to an external HD or to a TV (with HDMI in). You should also be able to access your network over your WiFi for streaming etc.
