Cannot Access ANY market

    I received this tablet/eReader from my girlfriend for Christmas, and have yet to figure out how to actually be able to download any apps. Any time I try to go online to the market, it says my account has no registered Android Device, yet I was never prompted to register my device.

    Please help!

    P.S. if it helps anything, I am connecting it to a Macbook running OSX 10.6.8

    Welcome to the forum

    Just a guess, but it seems as if the way you have it connected, your Mac is acting as a proxy and if that's the case the Play app can't see your device. It sees the Mac. You should try accessing the Store over WiFi to see if that works.

    Additionally, for Google Play you need to have opened a Google account.
