Cannot authorize my A500 with Adobe ID

Hi all
when I first bought the device I successfully managed to authorize the device with Adobe ID in order to be able to read ebooks.
Then last week I upgraded the firmware an now when I try to use Lumiread I'm asked to authorize the device again. I type my Adobe ID and I get "Unknown Error", details "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY".

Can anyone give me a hint please?

It could be the update interfering with the authentication process. In other words, the update screwed it up. Do you REALLY need the update? If not, I would downgrade and then reauthenticate.
