Can't download movie from Google play

I cant dowload the movie i purchased. It says I've reached the maximum number of devices allowed and i need to unpin the other devices. I've only tried it on the tablet and my phone and the phone worked fine. Google said its a rooting issue. Help?

Every time I do a full reset of my other tablet, it gets a new device id.
(Flashing a new ROM might do the same)
Amazon Appstore thought I had a bunch of different devices associated with my account. I had to login to Amazon via a web browser and delete the other "old devices" from my account.

Google probably does the same.

Are you rooted? If so, I believe Google Play has an issue with allowing rooted devices access for fear users may figure out how to "steal" the movie after watching it.

You can try using OTA Rootkeeper by Voodoo to do a "temp unroot" and see if that will allow you to watch the movies.

Also, login to your Play account in a web browser and check your devices. There may be some listed multiple times.
