can't get on internet with tablet

I can't get on the internet with my tablet using dsl connection at home. I always receive authentication error message. I was able to connect to the internet at a local mcdonalds offering free wifi thought connection was very slow. any suggestions? thank you

I would check to make sure you know your WiFi settings.

Also, make sure your home Internet does not have any MAC address filtering blocking unknown devices.

Finally, try unplugging your WiFi device for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in and see if that helps.
