I have a galaxy tab 2 and when I select the option of GPS location services, I do not see any indicator as to whether the tab is searching for GPS or whether it is active/enabled. In the quick menu, I do see the GPS icon as green. But I have no idea whether the tab has really enabled it. I thought I would see some indicator near the network signal indicator. Is there something I am missing? I do not have mobile data and neither am I connected to WiFi. I used to clearly see an indicator in my earlier tab 1.
