Cant seem to install apps?

I recently bought a Motorola XOOM 2 days ago and I cannot install apps. This goes for paid apps as well as free apps. Very confused. I dont seem to get an error.. simply does not install.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply Jimbo. I'm totally confused not. That DID install...

So how do i get access to the market? Do i need to reset my xoom?

Sorry Jamie, that can be several things, you may not be registered with a Google account , other problems are mainly with Tablets which can't get access, hopefully someone will come to your aid soon.

It's a common problem I have.
There is a bit of a process (it will become habit), when you find an app you want to install, first click on 'My Apps' on the top right of the screen, then press back to the download page, then download the app. Works most of the time.
You'll know it's working when it takes you to a manage apps list and downloads (after you have confirmed the app permissions).
Either a Honeycomb bug or Market bug, I expect it will be fixed with ICS.
