charger issue!

Hi everyone final got round to getting my prime and it looks great. but when i was fitting the UK adapter to the charger block that small tab on it broke off. im not surprised it broke off because it looks to small for the job. has this happened to anyone

I have not heard of anyone else doing that, and I have taken my charger a part a few times when it stopped working.

Could you add a picture?

it snapped off when attaching the UK adapter. but the charger still charges

Really good shot. So long as it's working, that's a good thing. You may want to purchase a backup charger just in case.

There are very few non ASUS chargers that will work due to outputting less voltage than the TFs want/need. If it says it will do 15v output at 1.2-1.5 A that would be great. Here is a page (click) for a vendor that has a car charger that will do the job. They also carry some cables.
