CM7.0.3 Market not working

I have a rooted (CWM 3.0.2.8) Nook with CyanogenMod-7.0.3-encore ROM
I ran the CM gapps 2011-03-07, but when I choose to install anything from the Market, it goes to downloading and never actually does.
I've rebooted and retried but always the same result.
I installed gmail via APK and it seems just fine, but no Market. What can I do to resolve this?
