Coby 7022 won't turn on after amazon kindle app update

I have a Coby Kyros MID-7022. The amazon kindle book reader app asked to update through the amazon apps for android app. I started the update and walked away. When I came back the screen was black and now it will not turn on. The battery was not low. I have tried turning it on while plugged in. Any ideas?

Isn't there a button to hold to boot in recovery or something like that?

You tried the reset button on the back right?

>_< gah! Thank you. I've had it in a cover for so long I forgot about that. I swear I'm not usually this inept about fixing my own things. Yes this fixed it.
