Coby 7048 keyboard not working

I just purchased a new 7048 and an external keyboard. I am using a USB double female adapter to connect the keyboard to a USB to micro USB to plug into the 7048. I tried the keyboard on my laptop and it works just fine. On the Coby 7048 it doesn't do anything. I don't think the 7048 recognises the keyboard. I looked in the setting and it is not listed there. Any help please

I believe your jury-rigged dongle is the culprit. You need a dongle like this one: USB Female to Mini USB Male Converter / Adapter
