Yep. It was in /nand/download/ I see it's supposed to be /system/apps. I'll give that a try this time to see if it makes a difference.

@ bane
I moved the Adobe apk to the root of the nand folder, installed and rebooted.

I got flash to install but removed it because none of the websites would come up. What are you using it for/with? Even if it works with just a few things, it might be worth reinstalling.

Well, since u asked...
I'm using flash for youporn.
Well, I'm testing flash on youporn. It would b great for that on it's own.
However, having flash on ur tablet makes it more awesome.

What I meant is....
Some website viewing depends on flash being installed.
Like the CCNA websiite etc.

Jeff,
Try using the Dolphin browser to view flash ( with flash installed) .

The player isn't great, but u can still view flash content.

Good luck.

I am new to the tablet arena but I have successfully rooted my 7015 and love it. I have to questions about it. One, how do I create a backup on CLockwork? I have it installed but not sire how to open it to run a backup. Next is an anti-virus program needed and if so which one would be the best?

Thanks for the help.

geneace,
Hopefully you made your first backup during the rooting process.
Making and restoring from backups is simple enough. But I made it simpler on my tablet by using Gscript and a simple script. Four clicks to get there.
http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...e-terminal-commands-like-reboot-recovery.html

But you can do it manually be following in the first post of
http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...ing-android-market-clockworkmod-recovery.html
In the section
Installing ClockworkMod Recovery to back up your Kyros

No ideas about anti-virus - Probably need to follow that in another thread...

I am on my second night searching for how to load a Flash instance onto the Kyros 7015 ... I see many references, but I can't track down a set of instructions. Would someone tell me where to get the zip file and how to load it? My family homeschools and there is a site which is flash heavy. I don't need to "see" all of the flash animation, but I need the site to stop prohibiting me from signing in. Thanks, in advance, for any help!

there's an apk (flash_for_21.apk) that has been floating around, but i've not heard of it actually working for anybody. most of the reports of functional flash 10.1 on an android 2.1 device are false positives generated by a working flash lite already included in the browser and/or system.

if you transfer large files or use torrents, you can stop the wifi sleeping when idle.
in wifi-settings press menu then advanced(its a hidden setting), then change the wifi sleep policy to never.
now you can download away with out worry of losing your download because you let your tablet go to sleep.
