my son has a coby kyros tablet. i have downloaded some apps and now it says memory full. but when i check my memory it says i have 2.30 g of internal memory left.

There are three seperate memory stores, Firmware Memory, OS RAM Memory and Storage Memory. The memory full is either the Firmware or OS. My bet is you have just 256 Mb OS RAM and you have filled it up. I would suggest removing some of the less used apps.
