My wife received this device as gift, used it short time and seems to be out memory.
its 4.0.3 kernel 3.0.3 and build 20120831.122404 if that helps
Apps updated, cache cleared
The error I get says: "Insufficient Storage Space. Please check it out."

What do you mean by "out of memory"? You need to be more descriptive and tell us exactly what happened.

These tablets don't boot from the MicroSD, and getting a larger one won't help.
