So newb question ( yes I did a search ) Why cant I connect the tablet to the PC through the USB cable ? I would like to transfer files to the SD card , without always taking it out . Also I would like to have more access to the Tablets files to delete and move etc seems like I should be able to do this if it conncts to the PC ( seems like I need this "root" file thing ..I will read more about this ) I have a Stock Netbook, Tablet PC, UMPC, Notebook 7'' Rockchip AMD Athlon 32GB 512MB Integrated Card NO 1.2Ghz 1.5KG AL TP-901 Guangdong, China (Mainland) 1.2 Ghz Android 2.3 Rotator screen Resistive Touch highperformance 802.11b/g 2-32GB Rockchip 2918 Shenzhen or HK 12 months touch screen MID
You should be able to connect to the PC with a usb cable. To access internal files on the tablet you may need "root" access to the tablet and from within the tablet a file manager that has root access. Since you are experiencing difficulties with the usb connection you might want to try a wireless solution such as samba or dropbox which can be found in the Market and will allow you to move files back an forth to the pc wirelessly.
Ok tried both still a no go , do I have to reboot ? Still not sure why I can't connect through USB , do I need a win driver for the tablet , or is it because I need root access ?
all you need is usb to usb cable or usb to mini usb cable and be patient.. i have a epad zte-180 and it all goes easy. all i have to do is lock the hard disk in the android powered tablet.
So all good lappy on hook up tablet ...reboot the tablet ...bingo!!! lappy see's the tablet , then on tablet enable access to the SD card .. then start transferring
