Cube U9GT vs U9GTS vs U9GTS_A?

I thought I had a plain Cube U9GT, and thus updated my firmware to the latest v.1.12. However, the WiFi no longer works -- it simply says "Error" when I try to turn on the WiFi. :(
So, I went back and re-flashed to what I thought was the original v1.0. Same problem. It still says "Error" when I try to turn on WiFi. Everything else seems to work.

How do I tell whether I have a U9Gt or a U9GTS or a U9GTS_A?
By looking at the Serial Number? Mine says U9GTSA8GB...

I'll try finding the latest firmware for S_A.

Does anyone know if the rooting procedure for U9GTS works for the U9GTS_A?

Thanks!

Answered my own question:
Look at the serial number stamped on the back of the tablet to determine which model you have:

S/N: U9GT8GB = U9GT
S/N: U9GTS8GB = U9GTS
S/N: U9GTSA8GB = U9GTS_A

(And updating the firmware changes the "Model number" info in the "About device" menu to the firmware's target model, so this isn't fixed.)

Hope this helps save some headaches / panic attacks....
