Just read this thread (after responding to your PM)
If you are this far, you should only have to do the following:
Download root_gapps_signed.zip and stick into the root of your sd.
select option to install from SD card and select the gApps zip file ---//> (volume up/down and power button to select)
confirm by selecting yes among the 36 No's.
It will install you will likely have to hold the power button down to eventually shut off the device. It seems this version is lacking "back" options.
when it boots just make sure you have an internet connection, then you will execute and update Play Store.
