Evening! The device's display broke and I can't connect to the device through wifi. Does anyone have any idea how data rescue could be performed? I don't see a usb port on it either; should there be a dock present together with the device? I haven't it. Any ideas? Any specifics concerning wifi connection that I'm overlooking? Thanks in advance. Edit: in general, what are some of the ways data rescue could be performed under extreme conditions and what factors would absolutely prevent it? Many thanks.

If you have a miniHDMI to HDMI cable, you can try hooking to a TV to use the tablet.

You can also hook your tablet via the charging cord (unplug from the wall wart and there is a USB) and a computer. Then you should see your tablet as an MTP device and can get your files.

If you happen to have USB debugging checked, have a look here on how to backup your tablet: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...ckup-unrooted-android-4-0-4-1-4-2-device.html

Also, you can do a file transfer so you can see your photos and files if you have USB debugging enabled: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...017-guide-how-recover-data-locked-tablet.html

you should have some usb cable which allow you to connect the device to computer.

you may also check whether there's a memory card which you can take out and connect to computer.
