It has reported that the wifi-only variant of the Dell Streak 7 has shown up for pre-order on Amazon.com. This is yet another good product to finally shed its 3G capabilities for a more friendly price. While it has been criticized for its poor viewing angles, particularly in portrait mode, but the Tegra 2 is much faster for applications compared to the Hummingbird processor found in the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is set to launch as a wifi-only device at a similar price-point. However, it does have a potential Honeycomb upgrade path given its hardware similarities with other devices on the market.

The more I look at this one the more I like it.
I might consider this as a replacement for my Haipad when it becomes available from Dell.

Might want. I love the cell phone and right now theres no reason to think their tablet wont be of the same quality. Wasnt there a rumor this would eventually get Honeycomb?
