Design Issue?

I got my A500 yesterday. I only had a chance to play with it for a bit last night and found an issue off the bat. While holding it in landscape mode, the left side where my fingers hold the device, is a littls quishie or crunchy. It isnt completely solid like the right side. I dont know if mine just has an issue or if its normal due to the backside camera being so close to the edge.

Bummer for me i guess. BB doesnt have any more in stock to replace mine either.

Yeah mine feels pretty solid too. If it is an issue take it back and have them order you a new one if they are out of stock when you go in.

Hi bro, I don't see any problem regarding the casing/body issue in mine too. Maybe you haven't got used to it?

I have noticed that on my unit as well. In fact I have the problem on both sides. The plastic and metal parts make a creaking noise when I hold it certain ways.

i just read the engadet review and they had the same issue with the backside creeking. I am just going to chalk it up as "this is why its 150 cheaper than the zoom" I guess
