Disgo 6000 With Sylvania 2.2 - Speaker not working

Hi all!

I recently picked up a D6000 cheap off eBay, it came with the stock 2.1 ROM and I immediately spotted that the external speaker was not working. Plugging in headphones works fine.

Now, I'd bought this tab from a batch of 'sold as seen' items that were described as having various software problems. As an experienced flasher of Android devices I figured this would be a fairly easy fix to put a clean Froyo on the device.

Sadly, even after Froyo my external speaker still doesn't work.

Has anyone experienced this? Software? Or is the speaker just shot?

One thought I've had is that this may be a profiles issue. Perhaps a profile is keeping the tab in headset mode? Any ideas folks?
